Feburary 2011

We enjoyed a fun weekend away with friends and dogs in Rochester on the weekend of the 23/24 Feb for a couple of all breeds shows.

We had no success at the shows but thoroughly enjoyed the time away – the humans utilizing the swimming pool and spa while the dogs played and relaxed.

Our first specialty show for the year was held in Ballarat of Feb 6th, judged by Rod Vernon from Queensland – and it was a busy one for Blakngold!

We exhibited 5 dogs with great results. Questa battled it out with her sister in the baby bitch class, coming 2nd.

Vice was 4th puppy bitch, Xilla 2nd junior bitch, Yoshi 3rd intermediate bitch and Termi was 2nd Aus Bred bitch.

January 2011

What else is there to do on a public holiday other than go to a dog show?!

Australia Day at Bulla is a big event, with international judges and is turning into a tradition for us and our friends.

We took along with us Questa, Termi and Yoshi – plus Vice for support and entertainment!

Little Questa strutted her stuff like a pro – her first ever show and an all breeds, quite different to the training she’d been getting used to.

She took our Baby of Breed and Baby in Group under our Indian judge Mr. J. Singh who commented that she was a lovely baby.

He also liked Yoshi, giving her Intermediate of Breed and Intermediate in Group. Well done to Hayley who handled both girls to their success.

Thanks to Lynn of Happy Paws for coming along to support us and taking some wonderful photos to help us remember a great day
